Barnsdall/Skiatook

Barnsdall has some pretty amazing people, both residents and staff. It doesn't take much to get them excited about the Lord. Today we looked at Rom. 15:13 "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing." Believing or having faith can be seen. It has the look of joy and peace. So, if "faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word" of God, we got into the promises found in His Word. It sure did create a lot of joy and peace. Praise the Lord. Now it's on to Skiatook spreading joy and peace.

Muskogee/Muskogee

This morning I was reminded again of the importance of ministry inside the walls of nursing care facilities. There is a resident who was in a Eufaula nursing home. She has been moved to Muskogee. This morning I saw her and some of her family. When they saw that I was also in this facility, and realized the gospel was being preached here too, they began to laugh and cry at the same time. They were thrilled. The family decided to stay through the service. Hands were in the air as we gave praise to our Lord. God is so good!

Sapulpa/Stillwater

Sapulpa
This facility has passed state inspections and is now growing with residents. It's great to see. We had a wonderful service this morning. Many in this facility have some form of mental deficiency. But, the love of God has the ability to cut through all of that and go right to the heart. It's exciting to watch. Jesus is Lord!

Stillwater
This afternoon was amazing. The power of God fell as we were singing. People began to weep and rededicate themselves to the Lord. I am so honored to be there and witness God in action. Praise the Lord!

Broken Arrow / Vinita

This morning was the first time I've had an outside service. When I arrived all the residents were in an outside courtyard. The weather was so nice we stayed there. (My system is battery powered and wireless. I can set up anywhere.) What a wonderful setting to sing praises to out God.

Okemah/Wewoka

It's so good to be back in Okemah. Last month I sang at a funeral on this day and was not able to come. It was like old home week. I was reminded again how important these services are to the residents and staff. We spent most of our time singing praises to our heavenly Father. They love to sing!

Henryetta/Okmulgee

We had an exciting morning in Henryetta. Hands were in the air as we sang praises to our God. Then, on the hottest day of the year, we had Christmas in July. We looked at the Christmas story and saw where Mary said, "Be it unto me according to Your Word." (Then, she ran to be with Elizabeth, full of excitement.) Romans 15:13 says, "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing," We should be filled with joy and peace if we are truly in faith. The activities director said she was suppose to be working at her desk but stopped everything so she could listen to the message. We are ministering to residents, their families, friends, and staff, all throughout eastern Oklahoma.

Muskogee/McAlester

On the way to Muskogee I was reminded of something I heard Kieth Moore say, "When traveling the road of life in your faith-mobile, there are 2 gauges you need to watch on your dash board. They are peace and joy. To have success in life, to be in faith, you must be full of peace and joy." So, that's what we talked about this morning. Faith in God will produce peace and joy. It was an exciting service. At the close we rededicated ourselves to the Lord.

Pryor/Jay

What comes to mind this morning is the story of the good shepherd leaving the 99 to find the 1. We did not have very many in the service this morning. I began to wonder, if I was one of the few in the room would I want the Lord to send someone to me? The answer was a quick, "yes". We are not responsible for the choices others make. We are responsible for going and doing whatever the Lord tells us to do.

Tulsa/Pawnee

Sometimes I feel like I'm just repeating myself over and over. But, this morning was another great morning. We are still looking at the story of the woman with the issue of blood. We are looking at it from several different angles. Faith is the way we receive the promises of God so it's worth building our faith. It's endurance faith that gets the job done. Not microwave faith. I have personally started getting involved in endurance sports. There is nothing quick and easy about endurance sports. It takes grit. It takes time. It takes a never quit attitude. When we develop that kind of faith. When we will not quit but take a stand until; we will never be defeated.

Stigler/Quinton

We are still sharing the story of the woman with the issue of blood. This morning it was received with open arms. Many residents were ready to take the steps she took to receive their healing. We are expecting great things. Now it's on to Quinton.

Muskogee/Muskogee

The turnout this morning was great. I know the staff has a lot to do with that. I am so grateful they understand the importance of the Word. We looked at God's healing power this morning. There were many residents who seemed to grab onto the idea of believing and then speaking what they believed. It was exciting to watch. We continue to: Strengthen The Saved & Save The Lost.

Wagoner/Sallisaw

It's Monday and I have a full week of ministry. This morning I was in Wagoner. I'm so thankful the staff is on board with this ministry and willing to bring in many, many residents. There is a person here who is here for rehab. She said she was in bed for a while. Now she is in a wheel chair and believing she will be on her feet soon. I hooked up with her and ministered along those lines. The Lord said in the book of Joshua, "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." We are going to prosper in our health and have good success.

Eufaula/Holdenville

It is a thrill to watch residents lift their hands to the Lord in praise and worship. One resident began to weep as he worshiped his Lord. It's not very often that residents are given the opportunity for corporate worship. However, today was one of those days. Praise the Lord!

Muskogee/Tahlequah

As I pulled into the parking lot, I noticed a work truck right next to an empty parking spot. There was a man sitting in the passengers seat of the truck. As I got out of my car he said, "Are you preaching this morning?" I said, "I sure am." He said, "Well, I guess I better come in." He did come in and sat through the message. The Bible says, we are compelled by the love of Christ. We are affecting the lives of residents, staff, family, friends, and workers. Praise the Lord!

Tahlequah/Stilwell

Prayer and the healing power of God is a very crucial part of the church. It must be believed, in order to receive. Not "thy will be done" but believe it IS the Lord's will for ALL to be healed. There were many who needed healing today. We believed and received.

Jenks/Chandler

This is the first service for the month. It was great. Even though the calender's for July were not up yet, the residents new I was coming. We praised the Lord with music and then saw that 2 Tim. 3:16 says, "All scripture is inspired by God." The Bible is the Living Word. It is God breathed. We can live by it. We can depend on it.
