Broken Arrow
I'm sitting in a McDonald's in Cleveland on my way to Pawnee. This morning we raised our hands and worshiped our wonderful Lord. It's great to start out the day like this. It makes the rest of the day so much better. It's good for the residents to be reminded, we are family. As Christians, we are part of the family of God. We are never alone.
Today I'll be traveling through Sequoyah, Muskogee, Wagoner, Tulsa, Creek, and Pawnee counties. We are reaching residents and staff all throughout eastern Oklahoma.

Vinita
This was our first service in Vinita. (Last month there was a mix-up in scheduling.) It was a wonderful group. I am really looking forward to ministering here!

Music will draw people but the Word of God is also very powerful. Depending on a persons spiritual situation it can draw them or cause them to run. I see the later from time to time. You must realize; they are not running from you. They are running from God. It's something that can be changed through prayer. Always remember: He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Eternal life can only be received through Him.

We are starting a new message today - The Promises Of God. I didn't realize there would be so much shouting. We got excited about His promises. My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. "Don't look to me. Look to Him. He is faithful to His Word."

Caremore
It's always a joy to see the Alzheimer's residents sing all the hymns by heart. The power of God is at work in them. We are rejoicing!
Nowata
This is the second time I've been in Nowata. I am thrilled to see what is happening in this nursing home. These people were praying for someone to come and minister to them. I can tell. They are like dry sponges soaking up the water of the Word. Both staff and residents are coming in. The staff said, they had been asking for ministers to come for the last 2 years but no one would come. We are here and thrilled to be here!

Glenpool
Singing praises to the Lord is such a wonderful way to start the day - every day. It's like every day is Sunday. This morning, in Glenpool, we raised our hands to the Lord and magnified Him. There are many here who are spiritually, emotionally, and physically better because we press in to God on a regular basis. He is the way, the truth, and the life.

There are good services and then there are real good services. We had a real good service this morning. The very presence of God was felt as we ministered to the Lord through Worship. Hands were raised and tears flowed as we received His power and blessing.
I don't have a lot of time to write because I am preparing for a memorial service that I heard about yesterday. Be ready in season and out! We continue to:

It is true that in smaller towns, the options for ministry is much less. There are some visitors who come but not as much ministry. It doesn't matter where we live, people are still very precious to God. Our focus is getting the Word of God to as many residents and staff as possible. After the service many asked for prayer. We have a very, very big God. He Is Able!

Warner
We had one of the largest groups at Warner that we have had in a long time. We looked at the thought, "God Is My Source." He is my source: Spiritually, Mentally, and Physically. Anything that I need, He can provide. The connection is Faith. Some can understand and believe. Others required the supernatural power of God to change their situation. In both cases, God is able. I laid my hands on many of these residents and we experienced that supernatural power of God. HE IS ABLE.

This morning we meditated on the phrase, "God Is My Source!" We see the reality of that as we believe in the promises of God. It doesn't really matter where we live or what our circumstances are. We are only limited by our faith. The room was full this morning. We saw that as we exercise our faith, it can become stronger. Don't over do it. Just like going to the gym, start out with something you can handle. It will gradually grow, if you're consistent. We had residents and staff taking notes this morning. He is the source of everything we need! At the close of the service there were several who received their needs met. Glory!

Glenpool
This morning I started a new message titled, "God Is My Source". He is my source for everything. There is a song that came to mind, "He's all I need. He's all I need. Jesus is all I need." The residents rose to a higher level of faith today. You could see it all over them. When you have Jesus, and you know He is all you need, it will make you happy.

Eufaula
I am constantly thrilled to see family members watch residents respond to the Word. This morning a daughter had come in to visit her mother. They were sitting together during the service. Apparently the mother no longer speaks or communicates. As we were singing - Standing On The Promises Of God - the mother began to smile and sing. The daughter just continued to stare. God is so good! The Word of God is Life. And we are bring that Life into nursing care facilities all throughout eastern Oklahoma.
