Sapulpa

This morning I met a woman who just had a stroke in November. It happened just a few days after her daughters wedding. She is divorced and now finds herself all alone in a nursing home. We cried together, laughed together, and then prayed together. There are people like this, with similar circumstances, all throughout the country. We are making a difference in eastern Oklahoma. Thank you friends and partners for allowing me to be a part of these peoples lives.

Together, we continue to: Strengthen The Saved - Save The Lost

Wow, what fun. We had a great group this morning. Only 3 days to Christmas and we were ready to sing Christmas carols. Then, we looked at the Christmas story in Luke and saw that when Mary's situation seemed impossible she said, "Be it unto me according to your Word." When our situations seem impossible we can say the same thing. Be it unto me Lord according to your Word. With God nothing is impossible.

This morning was the major Christmas party for the residents. I was asked to play my Christmas music and mingle. So I did. There were several residents who did not have family to join them, so I focused on them. Then, I found Santa Claus. I have some Good News, Santa Loves Jesus!

I am so thankful that I don't have to rely on my strength and power to see change in peoples lives. If I simple trust God and His power to get a thing done it will happen. This morning we gathered to praise the Lord. The more we sang, the more I could see God moving in the residents. I simple shared John 3:16. "God gave His Son." That act of love changed everything. Christmas is a time to remember how much God really loves us. Now, I'm on the road to Stillwater.

Okmulgee

This morning I had a woman grab my arms and not let go. She said, "I've got you now. Please, don't go!" There are residents in nursing homes that have no one to come see them. During the holidays it is much more noticeable because those who can come do. There are others who have no one. I make it a point to hold everyone's hands, give them a hug, and wish them a Merry Christmas. Jesus is the reason for this Christmas Season. Jesus is also the reason for this ministry. We are going into all the world sharing the good news of Jesus. We continue to travel: Strengthening The Saved - Saving The Lost.

(Oh, the woman that grabbed me? We held each other for a while. She was very lonely. It's the love of God shed abroad by the Holy Ghost.)

There are times when we think to ourselves, "That's impossible!" Many residents, in nursing homes, find themselves in "impossible" situations. You might find yourself in what seems to be an impossible situation. Today, we looked at an impossible situation that Mary and Joseph found themselves in. They found that what was impossible with man was possible with God. The good news is - nothing has changed. With God all things are possible. That was something worth shouting about. Jesus is the reason for the season and with Him nothing is impossible.

Wilburton

Wilburton has a special place in my heart. It is a small community nestled in mountains to the north and oil country to the south. They are very precious people with not a lot of resources. This morning we sang Christmas carols and then looked at John 3:16. Life can be complicated in a nursing home. It's difficult to describe all of the situations people are going through in just one facility. I had one person after another sharing things they are believing for. If you know someone in a nursing home please take the time to visit them. It will bless them and you.

I had a very special surprise. A friend of mine (Ben) who is a missionary to China came to the service. He and his family is in the states for Christmas. He was a blessing to the residents and to me, thanks Ben.

It is certainly true that the Christmas season can be stressful, even for nursing home residents. Many times, during the holidays, residents remember days gone by. Relationships that are no more, loneliness, and sickness can be amplified. I want to be the best relationship they could ever have - hug them, hear their stories, laugh with them, cry with them, pray with them.
As I walked through the facility this morning I could tell the staff had more than enough to do. I was on my own. I gathered as many as I could and we had the greatest time ever. Family is what it's all about. The family of God. We are celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As I began to play some of the Christmas carols. A few residents began to cry. I could tell they were remembering times past. It was time to build some new and lasting relationships. By the end of the service hugs were in store and they were asking when I would be back. These are my friends. This is my family, stretched all throughout eastern Oklahoma.

It is always a blessing to minister in situations where people are lonely. Nursing homes are one of those places. As we started to sing Christmas carols several residents came in. Then, we looked at a very familiar verse, John 3:16. It's so good to know that when we believe in Jesus we will never parish but have everlasting life. That's what Christmas is all about. Jesus came, born as a baby, that we might have everlasting life. As I was leaving I spoke with a woman I had not seen before. She was younger so I asked her why she was there. "Polio", she said. I asked her if I could pray. She began to shake. We are believing for complete and total healing. God is so good! Now it's time to head to Sallisaw.

Stigler

This morning we gathered around the tree and sang Christmas carols. I sang, "Mary Did You Know" and then we looked at John 3:16. God loved us so much that He gave His only Son. That's the Christmas story in a nut shell. God gave His Son so we would have the right to say, "Yes" to Him. When I said that a woman, right in front of me, raised her hand and said, "I want to say Yes." The rest is history. Another resident coming into the family of God. Praise The Lord!

We are continuing on the theme, "Jesus Is The Reason For The Season." It is also the reason we decorate. We are decorating for a birthday party. When our kids were small we would always have a birthday cake for desert after the Christmas meal. We would lite candles on the cake and let our kids blow then out. Then, it was time for cake and ice cream.
This morning we gathered to sing some of the favorite Christmas carols. It is truly beginning to look a lot like Christmas. There are decorations everywhere in the nursing homes. There are many residents who no longer have family or friends who come to visit. We are filling that gap by being their family. Many hugs and smiles were in store as we shared the Good News that Jesus is Lord.

There is a young man here who is probably in his teens. I don't know that he has ever lived anywhere but a care facility. He is strapped to a geri chair for his own protection. As we sang Christmas carols he began to smile and swing his arms with excitement. Over time I held his hand and we shared the glory of the moment together. The Glory of God, the Power of God, the Goodness of God works in our lives no matter what our situation or circumstance. Jesus is truly the reason for the season.

Tahlequah

There are times when I realize I am overwhelmed with compassion. (Back when I was in high school I remember recognizing compassion for the first time. I would know friends who had some form of need and I had a drive to help.) This morning, and all through the Christmas season, I see: loneliness, sickness, emotional needs, the desire to be valued, etc. I asked the group this morning to wave to YOU, my supporters. They love you and are so grateful WE (you and me) have the opportunity to continue to come and minister. We sang Christmas carols and talked about the real reason for the season - His name is Jesus. I just wanted to stay and hug them all but now I'm off to Stilwell.

Glenpool

As we sang some of the Christmas carols this morning, eyes were closed and you could tell the residents were reminiscing of times past. There were both smiles and tears. We looked at John 3:16 and saw that God loved us so much He was willing to send His son (Jesus) to save us from our sins. That is what Christmas is all about. That is why Jesus was born. As Christians we are family and we hugged a bunch before I left. Merry Christmas everybody!

Eufaula

Many times our church family becomes closer to us than our natural family. I find that to be even more so in nursing homes. There are some residents who have family and friends around. But, the majority of residents do not. That is where the church should come in. We are family and we should act like family. Today we came together and sang Christmas carols. We sangs the songs we remembered with the artists we remembered. Many of them remembered sitting around the radio when that was all there was. With every song we celebrated the birth of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. He is Lord!

This morning was a great start to the Christmas season. The room was full when I got there and they were eager to start the service. We sang several of the Christmas carols we all love and know. Then, we looked at John 3:16 with an emphasis on the birth of Jesus. He is the reason for the season. This is a perfect time of the year to talk about Jesus. He is the reason for the season!

Broken Arrow / Pawnee

Generally right around the major holidays there's a little more commotion in the nursing homes. This morning was no exception. Some employees were already gone for the holiday. Many of the residents were confused as to what day of the week it was because of the Thanksgiving. We did eventually have 8 in the service and we did have a good service. All that attended were glad they came.

The big news is that I reacquired the Pawnee nursing home. There had been some complications with scheduling and I ended up leaving Pawnee and ministering in another town. I really believed I needed to be in Pawnee so I went back this afternoon. There is a new activities director. The schedule has all changed and this morning she was praying that she would be able to get another pastor to come. YES, YES, YES.

Chouteau

We turned a so-so morning into a fun morning by singing the praises of our Lord. When I came in the residents were scattered throughout the facility. I set up in the dining area. After the music started, here they came. There is a phrase that I use a lot. It's a phrase the Lord gave me for the nursing homes - "Strengthening The Saved - Saving The Lost." This morning we were strengthening the saved. I reminded them, who they were in Christ. You could see the "wheels turning" and the smiles coming back.

Tulsa

We had a great first service. Plus, we took a little time to get to know each other. There were approx. 10-12 in attendance. I'm really looking forward to coming back. God has been faithful to open doors into nursing homes all throughout eastern Oklahoma. It was wonderful to see their eyes light up as we started to sing some of the old hymns. Now it's on to Stillwater. Jesus Is Lord!

Friday, November 18, 2016

Okmulgee

It was a surprise to see so many people this morning. Today was their big Thanksgiving meal. Besides all the residents, many family members and friends were invited. When I got there at 10am there was a constant stream of people coming in to visit and for the meal. The activities director suggested I set up in the middle of everybody and have a hymn sing. So, that's what we did. It was a great time to thank the Lord for who He is and what He has done.

Thursday, November 17, 2016

Muskogee

Wow, we had a great time this morning. The residents were in the room and ready. We gave thanks to our wonderful, loving heaven father for His goodness. Jesus said in Matt. 6:10, "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." We realized that we could answer every question we had by asking the question: what is it like in heaven? That's how Jesus wants it on earth. That caused us to shout for quite a while. God is so Good!

Alzheimer's affects the mind, so does the Word of God. We are to renew our minds to the Word of God. This morning we sang hymns filled with the Word. As the residents sang we watched them "wake up". I asked them several questions between the songs. The staff was impressed with their answers. Praise the Lord!

Tuesday, November 15, 2016

Pryor

We gathered this morning to praise the Lord and hear from Him through His Word. There are many residents who are lonely. They need a touch from God but they also need fellowship with other fellow Christians. This morning we succeeded in both. At the close of the service we also prayed for the sick. The Bible says, "Lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." I believe that.

Once again I was reminded that for some of the residents, this is family. This is their only family. When we get together this is it.
During this time of the year depression can be rampant. Not just in nursing homes but everywhere. Relationships and family is very important during the holidays. Remember to always receive people with love and acceptance. We don't always agree, but we can love them as Jesus loved.

We raised our hands in worship and thanked our God for His goodness and mercy. After the service, I laid my hands on the sick and I am expecting full recovery. Praise The Lord!

Stigler

Perspectives

As I looked around the room I realized that it is only the Love of God and His Word that actually has the answers to all the needs that I saw. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We are given a mandate in the Word, "Be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only". Many times when we go to church and hear the Word we have a tendency to think that's enough. We've heard the Word. It makes us feel good. And, we go home. But, hearing the Word and not doing the Word is not enough. We must do what the Word tells us to do. (I have to tell you right here, I believe in more than just the concept of the Bible. I believe in what the Bible literally says!)

The past several months I have been meditating on Mark 16:17-18 "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." KJV

As believers we should be doing that. Instead of that sounding radical it should be the norm for the believer. I must admit, it's much easier to be a hearer than a doer. "These signs shall follow those who BELIEVE."

Muskogee

It is always a joy to minister here. This month we are focusing on thanksgiving. We raised our hands and our hearts to the Lord in praise. He is such an awesome God. At the close of the service we recommitted ourselves to Him. (I am told that this service brings in more residents than any other activity. Praise the Lord!)

Wednesday, November 9, 2016

Wilburton

There are some new residents in this facility. When we started to sing, "Spirit Of The Living God Fall Fresh On Me", They began to cry. (It is quite traumatic when a person first enters a nursing care facility. Their entire world changes. Many of the residents have had either a physical or mental event that caused them to be here.) When they started to cry I new they were believing for something from God. After the service we spent some one-on-one time in prayer. We are expecting!

Tuesday, November 8, 2016

Tulsa/Bartlesville

Today we raised our hands to the Lord and thanked Him for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He continues to do. He is such a good God. The activities people are so great to bring residents to the meeting. We always have a wonderful group. He is worthy to be praised! We continue to lay hands on the sick and we see wonderful manifestations of Gods healing power. Praise the Lord!

We continue to preach the uncompromising Word of God. God is Good. Jesus is Lord. He did not come to condemn but to give life. He is the only way. And, it is our choice.
Hands were raised once again as we worshiped our Lord and Savior. There are former residents who come back for the service. After they were healed they were able to live on their own but this is their church. Praise the Lord!

Can you picture and emergence waiting room with people raising their hands and giving praise to God? That might give you a visual of what I see most days. We press into God and expect Him to move on our behalf because He is a Good God. These residents are getting stronger by the day: spiritually, mentally, and physically. I make it a point to touch and pray with each one in the room. Even if they are visitors. Everyone can use a touch from God. Sometimes I tell them, "I think I ought to sit down and let you preach." Many times I'll start a verse and they'll finish it. This is my family, over 3,000 residents in 36 nursing care facilities all throughout eastern Oklahoma.

Whether the group is big or small the power of God is always ready to save, heal, and deliver. We raised our hands in worship as we thanked our God for being so good to us. He sent us Jesus! Wow, what a Savior!

It was in this facility, November of 2009, this ministry was started. It's been 7 years. We have ministered in 47 different nursing homes in Oklahoma and 3 in Iowa during that 7 year period. We are currently in 36, on a monthly basis which requires full-time traveling. God has done tremendous things in peoples lives. We have also encouraged others to expand their nursing home ministries in Florida, Arkansas, and Texas. Yet, I believe we are just getting started. There is much more to come. I remember making a commitment to the Lord and saying, "You tell me where to go, and what to do, and I'll do it." I had no idea where that would take me.

There is a whole world of people who live in nursing homes that most people are not aware of. These people have one thing in common. They need long term care of one kind or another. Their age does not matter.
This morning, as I entered the facility I noticed another young gal who I would guess to be in her early 20s. She lives here. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with her physically so I was anxious to talk with her. When I did, I could not understand anything she said. I'm not sure of her situation but it's very sad to think she could be living here for the rest of her life. That is where God comes in. He is the way-maker. He can make a why where there seems to be no way. During the service we all raised our hands to the Lord and thanked Him for who He is, what He has done, and what He continues to do. As a dad with 4 kids, (2 daughters and 2 sons) it's difficult to leave someone like her in a long term care facility except for leaving her in Gods care. I will be back. We will continue to pray. And, we will continue to see God do miraculous things in peoples lives. He is so very, very good. We continue to: Strengthen The Saved - Save The Lost

Sapulpa

It's very exciting to be a part of what God is doing in nursing homes. Many of the residents have not heard some of the old hymns for years. They have not been given the opportunity to corporately worship the Lord. This picture says it all. We continue to travel and minister the good news. Jesus said, "I am come that you might have life!"

Thursday, October 27, 2016

Muskogee

This morning there was excitement in the air. It didn't take much for "amen's" and "praise the Lord's" to be heard throughout the room. We praised the Lord for a while and then looked at the verse in Ephesians that says, our feet are to be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. We should be attached to the gospel just like a shoe is shod to a horse. It's not just a convenient gospel but a gospel that becomes part of our life. It's something we must have to run our race. At the close of the service we rededicated our selves to run our race. God still has a plan and a purpose for our lives. It doesn't matter how young or how old we are.

Strengthening The Saved - Saving The Lost

Broken Arrow

It's fun to watch people press in and get closer to God. Many times we can go from day to day without intentionally staying connected to God. For the last several months we have been looking at fighting the good fight of faith. We've been in Ephesians chapter 6 where it says that our feet are to be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. To shod or shoe a horse takes preparation. Both the hoof and the shoe must be prepared. The Word has been prepared but our hearts must also be prepared. When a horse has been shod properly that shoe will never come off on it's own. We must be so connected to the Word that situations and/or circumstances will never throw us from the Word.

As residents were listening you could see them grasping the Truth of God's Word. Excitement and joy was evident. Several years ago the Lord said to me, "I want you to strengthen the saved and save the lost." That's what I am doing in nursing homes all throughout eastern Oklahoma. And, that's what I'm doing today!

Last month I was not able to be at this nursing home. So, it's been a while since we've seen each other. There was joy in the camp when we got together again. It was a great way to start the week. Even though the activities director was not there today, many of the staff brought residents in. We know that when 2 or 3 are gathered together in His name, He is there. We lifted our hands in worshiped and praised Him.

Okmulgee

Ten years ago I would have never guessed that we would be doing what we are doing today - ministering the Good News of Jesus Christ in nursing care facilities. Over the past several years we have continued to add nursing homes to the schedule until now we are in 36. It requires a full-time traveling schedule and it is well worth it. God continues to move in a very powerful way. We travel over 3,000 miles a month ministering in all 36 facilities each month. Four of the facilities are schedules twice a month.

This morning I was in Okmulgee. I was not on the schedule and as a result there was know one in the room. This is because there is a new activities director and many times scheduling information does not get passed from one to another. I introduced myself and the new directer scurried to bring residents in. (It's going to be great to work with her.) We had a wonderful morning. I showed up, the residents showed up, and God showed up! There is something to be said about persistence in the ministry. If God has truly called you to do something, do it with everything you have.

On the road again: Strengthening The Saved - Saving The Lost

What a wonderful surprise to see the room full of residents when I walked into the room. They were ready to praise the Lord. We talked about this big word - Salvation. It includes everything we need in this life and the next. At the close of the service a woman raised her hand and said, "Pastor, would you pray with me? I want to make sure I'm born again." Praise The Lord!

Claremore

We spent the morning singing praises to our God, in Claremore. These people love the Lord and they love music. That's a great combination. "Turn your eyes upon Jesus Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of Earth will grow strangely dim In the light of His glory and grace."

Each nursing home has a unique personality. Just like meeting individuals and realizing that every person is different, every nursing home is different. Sometimes nursing homes will cater to certain needs. Because of these differences, many times, how I minister is different. We spend much more time singing in Pryor. Music is a wonderful way to sense the presence of the Lord. The Bible tells us we are to renew our minds to the Word of God. That happens through teaching. But, when the mind is not working as it should we can go straight to the spirit through music. I have witnessed the mind "wake up" as we minister to the Lord through music. Be open to the leading of the Lord as you minister. There are many ways to minister.

As I looked out to the residents and friends who were in the service this morning, I was reminder of those who have left the nursing home to live on their own, yet come back for the service. One woman was healed of cancer and comes back because this is the only "church" she is able to come to. We are looking at the word "salvation". It's a big word. It takes in everything Jesus did for us at the cross. We raised our hands to the Lord and thanked Him for who He is and what He has done.

There has always been something special about Muskogee. I am currently in 3 nursing care facilities and they all have a heart for God. We raised out hands to the Lord and worshiped Him this morning. For a few months now we have been learning how to "fight the good fight of faith". They are becoming fighters. They are learning to take what belongs to them. At the close of the service we rededicated our selves to the Lord and sang "Standing on The Promises of God." When we did, look what happened!

Wednesday, October 12, 2016

Wilburton

It's always fun to see kids and grand-kids come into the service. It can be a distraction but it's a good distraction. The residents in nursing homes "light up" when they see little kids come in. We took a little bit of time to hug everybody. After they opened up to receive the little ones they were open to receive the Word. We raised our hands to the Lord and worshiped Him. He Is Lord!

Tuesday, October 11, 2016

Tulsa

This morning was wonderful. Many of the residents began to worship the Lord with uplifted hands and shoutings of praise. (It got pretty wild there for a while.) I was asked to pray for the sick so I went around the room praying for everyone who wanted prayer. We saw some amazing things by the power of God. We have been talking about "Putting on the armor of God and fighting the good fight of faith". Now we are showing it by demonstration. Praise The Lord!

Monday, October 10, 2016

There were several residents and staff who came into the meeting this morning. We raised our hands and praised the Lord. Then, a family member came in with a little child. In nursing homes, that makes all the difference. No matter what is happening a child will take all the attention. That's okay, we had a great time. We talked about having faith in God just like a little child.

Eufaula

There's a new name written down in glory! Wow, what a morning. We had more in the service than I have seen in a long time, both residents, staff, and family members. We sang for most of the time and then looked at John 3:16 and John 14:1-6. "Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life for whosoever believes in Him." At the close of the service another resident accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior - Hallelujah!

Broken Arrow

Many times when I ask the question, "How many here are righteous?" I get a response that let's me know we are not ready to fight the good fight of faith. Many times the response is, "No one is righteous!" This morning we turned our thinking around. We need to know that in Christ we have become the righteousness of God. In other words we have right standing with God through Jesus. Then we can fight the good fight of faith. Many raised their hands to the Lord this morning as we worshiped Him in song. Then, we learned how to put on the armor of God so we can fight that good fight of faith.

What a beautiful morning. The residents had walked around the outside of their facility for their morning exercise and then sat on their front porch. That's where they were when I arrived. We just about had our service outside but then the activities director realized not all of the residents would be able come come out. So, we went in. They were ready to sing. We sang: Jesus Is The Sweetest Name I Know, Oh How I Love Jesus, What A Friend We Have In Jesus, and more. Some of the residents were ready to testify what the Lord had done for them. He is our Healer, Deliverer, Savior, and soon coming King. As we closed the service I laid hands on many and witnessed the power of God heal and deliver. He is so Awesome! Now it's on to Wewoka.

I would guess that approx. half of the group this morning had memory or mental health issues. Some were agitated before I got there. As I began to sing, I walked around the room and held their hands. After a little bit the peace of God filled them to the full. Some of them that were the most agitated fell asleep. That's okay, they needed the rest. For the rest of us we were praising the Lord. Now it's on to Pawhuska: Strenthening The Saved - Saving The Lost.

Ministering at East Gate Village has been a blessing right from the start. I have been here going on 7 years. The Lord is doing a might work here. We have seen continued salvations, healings, and the joy of the Lord. Those who are bed-fast are asking me to come to their rooms and pray with them. It is an honor and a privilege to be called their "Pastor".

This morning I was ushered into an area I had not been before. That means I saw resident I had not met before. It was wonderful. This is an Alzheimer and dementia unit. We are witnessing the Spirit of God do a might work from the inside out in many of their lives. Some have lost the ability to communicate however tears flowed as we sing the hymns. They reached out to hold my hand and wouldn't let go. One man said he had been straddling the fence all his life when it came to God. He said, "I want to know His power." Staff, residents, and myself held hands and prayed with him. What an awesome time.

Pryor

As I entered Shady Rest this morning I was overwhelmed with the help necessary to run a facility like this. These are places where the residents and staff need the church.

The definition of a nursing home is:
A nursing home, convalescent home, skilled nursing facility, care home, rest home or intermediate care provides a type of residential care. It is a place of residence for people who require continual nursing care and have significant difficulty coping with the required activities of daily living. Nursing aides and skilled nurses are usually available 24 hours a day. Residents include the elderly and younger adults with physical or mental disabilities.

Imagine a facility where youth all the way through the elderly are cared for 24/7 for both physical and mental issues.

These are the places I call "home." Places where I see and experience the power of God. Places where residents, staff, friends, and family begin to touch and experience the reality of a loving God.

Glenpool / Stillwater

We had a good morning with many in attendance. We raised our hands to the Lord and worshiped Him in song. Then, we looked to the Word and are still looking at the topic: Fighting The Good Fight Of Faith. It is a fight but it's a good fight because God has given us the tools, the weapons, the ability to win.

This afternoon I traveled to Stillwater. We are adding Brookdale Assisted Living to our schedule. Praise The Lord!

Okmulgee

This morning was very emotional. Several of the residents were speaking of their loved ones who had gone on to be with the Lord. Tears of sad and glad at the same time. Sad that they can't see them today but glad that they are in heaven. I laid my hands on many of them allowing: the love of God, the power of God, the Goodness of God to flow into them. "Thank you Lord, for allowing me be to be here and to show them your love."

We had another great service this morning. Residents continued to come in after the service started. We were looking at the advantages of putting on the armor of God. Hands were in the air as we praised our wonderful Lord. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Wilburton

I was up early this morning and off to Wilburton. 120 miles later and here I am. (It's less that 75 miles as the crow flies.) I'm in the same facility but a different room. A resident looked at me and said, "What can you tell me?" I said, "God loves you and I love you." She began to cry and said, "That's the nicest thing I've heard in a long time, thank you." That kind of talk will lead people straight to God. We are seeing residents, staff and family come to the Lord through the love of God. It is His kindness that leads us to Him - Rom 2:4.

Tulsa

We had a wonderful service this morning. We have found a room toward the back of the building that is closer to the residents rooms and much more intimate. We are seeing the Lord do marvelous things everywhere we go. Many times they are seen or noticed as staff members come in and point to residents. They are seeing residents do things or say things they did not think they could do or say. Or, things they had never seen them do before. The Bible says in Mark 16:17-18, "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." If I am a believer, and I am, then these signs should follow me. They are not generally spectacular in nature but they are always supernatural.

Wagoner

I want to thank each and every one who supports this ministry. You allow me to bring the Good News of The Love of God into nursing care facilities. As I entered the facility in Wagoner there were several who reached out to hold my hand and did not want to let go. They are hungry for love and attention. We began to sing: Are You Washed In The Blood Of The Lamb, Jesus Is The Sweetest Name I Know, etc. Smiles came to their faces and we began to do the works of Jesus. He is the same, yesterday, today, and forever.

Stigler

It is always a thrill to minister the Word of God. This morning we had both residents, family members and friends in the service. We continue to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Word tells us we have the ability to fight the good fight of faith. A good fight is always the fight that you win! As we continue to stand on the Word of God be become Victorious in Him. Now, it's on to Quinton.

Muskogee

We had 40+ residents ready to praise the Lord. - (It is interesting to see residents move from one location to another. Yesterday afternoon I saw a man who I first met several years ago in Gore. Then he moved to Eufaula. Yesterday he was in Fort Gibson. Well, this morning I saw a man who I expected to see this afternoon. He has been in an assisted living facility but now he is in a nursing home. I always kid with them and tell them they can't hide from me that easily. I'll find them wherever they go. :) - Back to this morning. We are learning more and more about fighting the good fight of faith. It's all about believing the Word of God is true even when everything around you may say it's not. If the Word says it, I believe it, and that settles it! We closed the service by praying the healing power of God to flow through each and every life in the service. After the service I continued to play music as I went around picking up the song sheets, praying with people, etc. A hymn started playing that says, "Spirit of the living God fall fresh on Me." All the residents began to raise their hands and sing those words. It was an amazing sight. We are all about:

Warner

There are times when I am hit with the realization that everyone in the facility needs some form of help. I like it when the activities department is having a good day; the residents have been brought into the meeting room and everything is ready for me when I get there. In most cases that is just a dream.

As I entered the facility this morning I saw 5 residents sleeping in front of a TV. No one was in the activities office and the workers that I did see were very, very busy doing a variety of other things. I'm sure the last thing they were thinking of was a "volunteer" coming in to their facility to do something with their residents. Yet, every resident and every employee has needs. There are many possibilities, through God, to meet those needs. I turned off the TV and started gathering residents myself. I let them know that I loved them and God loved them. We began to sing about the goodness and power of God. The atmosphere began to change. Other residents heard the music in their rooms and came out. Then staff started coming in. (The love of God will draw people no matter what their situation might be.) I laid hands on the sick, residents and staff, believing they will recover.

At times when it seems there is no help to be found, there is always help - God! Remember, you and God is always a majority. Now, it's on to Fort Gibson.

Tahlequah

We had several of our regulars this morning but there were also several new residents. We are growing! As we started to sing, Are You Washed In The Blood Of The Lamb, a woman yelled at the top of her lungs, "Yes I Am!" It scared all of us at first but as she continued we got used to it. Today we learned how to put on the belt of Truth - Eph. 6:14. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." We continue to: Strengthen The Saved - Save The Lost.

Friday, September 2, 2016

Eufaula

We had just finished singing a hymn when a woman yield out, "I have a testimony." She proceeded to tell us that for the last 3 months both legs from the knees down had been paralyzed. She's beginning to get feeling in her legs and said the power of God touched her. She said, "I'm going to walk out of here!" That brought on a lot of shouting and rejoicing. GOD IS GOOD.

This mornings service was a great way to start off the month. We've been putting on the armour of God. Today we put on the belt of Truth. Hands were in the air, praising our Lord, as we learned how to strap on the belt of Truth and be led by the Spirit of God. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

God continues to work in a very powerful way in the nursing homes. Many residents - whom the medical staff would say, "They're not capable of carrying on a conversation." - were talking and picking out songs to sing. When I arrived, one woman seemed quit boisterous and agitated. By the end of the service she had the biggest smile in the room and we were holding hands. The love of God is being shed abroad by the Holy Ghost.

Rom. 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Now, I'm on to Pawhuska.

This morning we had another large crowd, 45 or so. They were ready to praise the Lord. Today the topic was "How To Walk The Path God Has Planned For You." Residents, staff, and family were in the service today. Along that path is our provision. "Yes Lord, I will go where you want me to go and do what you want me to do."

Broken Arrow

It's wonderful to watch family come and sit with those who are living in nursing care facilities. I spoke with a woman this morning who's sister was in Haskell. I conducted her funeral for her several months ago. Now, her mother is in the Broken Arrow facility. She was thrilled that we were here preaching the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We had a great group. After the service one of the woman said, "You make it sound like it's really true!" Praise the Lord it is not only true - it is the TRUTH.

Strengthening The Saved - Saving The Lost

Okemah

We had a wonderful testimony this morning. I was talking about walking the path that God has prepared for each and every one of us. I said, "Getting off the path can cause terrible destruction in our lives." A woman raised her hand and said, "That is right!" She said, "Look at me. God didn't do this, I did. I got off my path and did my own thing. Since I've been in this nursing home I've developed a very close relationship with the Lord and He is healing me." We are learning how to walk that path. One of the verses we looked at was:

Prov 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Thursday, August 18, 2016

Muskogee

This morning the music was amazing. It was out of time, off key, very loud, sometimes yelling, but all to the glory of God. They were giving glory to Him with everything they had. It was wonderful. Then, we talked about following the path of God. We must: (1) trust Him and realize that (2)His ways are higher than our ways.

Claremore

I minister in an Alzheimer's facility in Claremore. I always enjoy watching them "come alive" when we begin to minister and sing the hymns. Smiles came to their faces and we began to talk about things in their past. The Spirit of God is very powerful and able to quicken their spirits. We continue to: Strengthen The Saved - Save The Lost

It just seemed like we should focus on the basics of salvation this morning. We sang several of the old hymns and then went straight to John 3:16 and Rom. 10:9-10. There were many tears with salvations and re-dedications. Thank you Lord. What an amazing morning.

Glenpool

What a great morning. This group in Glenpool will gather at a moments notice to praise the Lord. Hands were in the air as we praised Him. Then we looked at what it means to put on the helmet of salvation, and the breastplate of righteousness. How do we use these pieces of armor to fight the good fight of faith.

Stigler

I remember the first time I heard the things I am teaching. I thought to myself, "I've never heard anything like that before. Could that be true". But, I couldn't deny the fact that it was the Word. It was Truth. It changed my life. Now it's changing others. We are ministering, "Fighting the good fight of faith by putting on the whole armor of God". Many of the residents had that look that I had the first time I heard it. We are growing, growing, growing in the Word of God. Rom 5:17 says, . . ."they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ." We can fight the good fight of faith and win. Praise the Lord!

Thursday, August 11, 2016

Muskogee

I must admit, I really enjoy going to East Gate Village. But, this morning was exceptional. We had 43 residents in the service. (When you get 43 wheel chairs all in the same place it takes up a lot of room.) Denomination does not matter because we are all pressing in to the Word of God. We are in a series called "Fighting The Good Fight Of Faith." Today we talked about putting on the breastplate of righteousness. Oh my, it got exciting when they realized righteousness was a gift and not something they had to work for. It comes with accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You want to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness when you realize how good He is. We're back on the road again: Strengthening The Saved - Saving The Lost

Wednesday, August 10, 2016

Wilburton

I always like to see new residents come to the services. This morning was no exception. Tidwell Living Center is receiving new residents and they brought them into the service. It's wonderful to watch them "come alive" when they hear the Word. We are talking about "fighting the good fight of faith" by putting on the whole armor of God. A lot of people don't even know that's in the Bible. Romans 5:17 says, "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ."

Tuesday, August 9, 2016

Tulsa

This morning we went to a different part of the building do to some building renovations. It was great. A smaller room but more residents. I think we'll meet there more often. We've been talking about "fighting the good fight of faith." A good fight is a fight you win! Last time I was here we put on our helmet of salvation. Today we talked about putting on the breastplate of righteousness. It's wonderful to watch residents realize and understand who they are in Christ. We continue to: Strengthen The Saved - Save The Lost

Wagoner

Wow, it was an amazing morning. I started the service like I usually do but then it seemed like I should go around the room and lay my hands on every resident, believing all their needs would be met. What came to me was this verse, "These signs shall follow those who believe. . ." Then I heard this, "If you are a believer these signs will follow you." So, I began to lay hands on every one of them. Talking with them. Praying with them. And, sharing what the Lord had said to me. Many began to tremble and cry. It was an awesome sight. God truly wants to meet our every need according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.

Friday, August 5, 2016

Eufaula

It is so wonderful to start the day by Praising The Lord! Many times residents will ask, "What day is it?" (Because, every day seems the same in the nursing homes.) Generally I respond by saying, "It's 'Friday' and time to praise the Lord." Today was no exception. We praised the Lord and then looked at How Good God Is. He is gooder than good. He is exceptionally good. We really need to hear that, over and over again! Now, it's on to Holdenville.

Thursday, August 4, 2016

Muskogee

This morning was WONDERFUL. We had revival right at the git-go. It was a full room, hands in the air, and we were just thrilled to be together as the family of God. We talked about putting on the whole armor of God in relation to fighting the good fight of faith. At the close there were several who rededicated themselves to the Lord. Then, we laid hands on the sick and they recovered. God is always So Good!

Wednesday, August 3, 2016

Fort Gibson

Our hands were raised as we worshiped our Lord and Savior. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I am so thankful He stays the same. Things can change all around us but one thing will never change - Him. The Bible says, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

There is a woman here whom I had not seen before. She is young and in a geri chair. As I reached out to hold her hand she went wild. She grabbed whatever she could get a hold of and pulled me to her. She was not about to let go. After a little bit she settled down and, I believe, sensed the love of God. Oh, the love of God. It is a wonderful thing. When God comes on the scene everything changed.

Tahlequah

I find it fascinating how the congregation can create a freedom to minister. They can also bind you to the point where you wonder if you should say anything at all. This morning there was wonderful freedom to minister. Half way through the message I noticed a new resident in the back of the room who had brought her bible. She was taking notes and clinging to every word I said. Then I knew, she was giving me that freedom to minister.
We were looking at what it means to put on the whole armor of God. As we receive the gift of righteousness, and put it on, we can rule and reign in this life with Christ Jesus. At the close of the service there were many who wanted prayer.

Monday, August 1, 2016

Glennpool

It was a slow start this morning. It's the first day of the month, Monday, and the new monthly calenders were not up yet. The residents didn't know I was coming. We started with 4 residents in the room. I said to the Lord, "I know you sent me to minister and that's what I'm going to do." Several more came in after the music started. A chaplain came in and sat through the service. He is affiliated with one of the hospice organizations. After the service he spoke with me and said, there were several residents in the service with very short term memory who were paying attention. He was very surprised but pleased. When I realized who he was referring to, I was surprised. I speak with them all the time and we carry on normal conversations. God's Word is very powerful! Praise the Lord.

Muskogee

There were lots of smiles this morning. One woman said, "I want to hear some good news". That was great to hear because that was exactly what I came to do. We sang "What A Friend We Have In Jesus, Blessed Assurance, Count Your Blessings, etc." with our hands raised to the Lord. Residents and staff filled the room. It's time to praise the Lord.

Wednesday, July 27, 2016

Broken Arrow

It's always exciting to see the change in peoples attitudes and actions as we look at the Gospel. The "Good News." One resident gripped my hand and said, "Please tell me more." This morning we looked at "Putting On The Helmet Of Salvation." It is the beginning of a very exciting life.

Tuesday, July 26, 2016

Chouteau

I think this mornings group is the largest group we've had at this facility. We are growing in numbers but we are also growing in relationships. We are learning to love the Lord and to be family. There is a comfort in that. A peace. A Joy. At the end of the service I asked a couple, who had been sitting next to me, how long they had been together. They said, "67 years." They love the Lord and are so glad we have started a "church" they can attend.

Monday, July 25, 2016

Okemah

Today we spent our time praising the Lord. Between the songs, I ministered something related to the song. Toward the end of the service we sang "Standing On The Promises Of God." This woman put action to her faith and stood up. I love to see the power of God in action.

Friday, July 22, 2016

Sapulpa

We raised our hands to the Lord this morning. He is good and His mercies endure forever. This morning was "pay day" for the facility. All the employees come at once to get their pay check. It was quit the commotion. The residents were glad for the service. Now it's off to Pawhuska!

Thursday, July 21, 2016

Muskogee

A resident came into the service today who has been staying away from me and the services for months. She's been mad at God. Today I was proclaiming "The Goodness Of God." I was curious that she would come in to listen while I was ministering on such a topic. After the service she motioned me over to tell me something. She looked at me with a big smile and said, "God really IS good!" (We had prayed months ago that her doctor would get revelation from God about her situation but she never went to talk to him.) She finally went. After taking some x-rays he saw some things he had not seen before. It completely changed her outcome. He said after a few months she will not need the nursing home any longer. Praise the Lord!

Wednesday, July 20, 2016

Claremore

We spent a lot of our time singing today - Jesus Is The Sweetest Name I Know, Oh How I Love Jesus, Amazing Grace, etc. Many of these residents have memory issues. But, when we started to sing the old hymns their memory improved. We would sing, then minister, then sing, then minister. As they continued to remember the hymns other things in their lives would come to mind. It was a wonderful thing to watch. After the service residents were talking about things the staff had never heard about before.

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword. . ."  Heb. 4:12

In the nursing home environment there can be many scheduling and/or personnel changes from one time to the next. This morning was one of those times. There were several medical students in training (working with many of the residents). The facility also has a new activities director. Some of the staff, who new me, helped me bring residents in to the meeting room. We began to sing. Then, other residents came. We had a great time. One of the residents who has never responded before, either verbally or physically,  motioned for a song sheet. Later I could see him trying to sing. God continues to move in nursing care facilities. The schedule has been reestablished with the new activities director and we are ready for next month. Praise The Lord!

Monday, July 18, 2016

Glenpool

This morning, as I was getting ready, I heard this - God Is Good. I jotted that down and continued to listen. 15 minutes later I had a new outline for today's message. God is so good He will lead you and guide you through troubled times. But, we must learn to listen and believe. He will not force us to do anything. We are choosers. At the end of the service we sang - What A Friend We Have In Jesus. A woman came in to visit with her grandmother during the service. As we sang that last song she was overwhelmed watching her grandmother sing the hymn. Many of the residents do not respond until we sing the old hymns. What a friend we have in Jesus.

Okmulgee

We didn't have quit as many in the service this morning but the Spirit of the Lord was very present. We sang many wonderful hymns of the church and ministered between the songs. toward the end of the service a couple came in. The wife had come to visit her husband who is a resident. A resident, who had been there for all of the service, asked if we could sing another song for the benefit of the couple who had just arrived. We started to sing - Jesus Is The Sweetest Name I Know. The husband began to raise his hands to the Lord and weep. His wife noticed what he was doing and she began to cry. It was a beautiful thing to witness and experience. Yes, Jesus is the sweetest name I know.

Muskogee

It seemed that this mornings service was supercharged. The room was full. The residents were ready to praise the Lord. And, there was an expectancy in the air. We were not disappointed as the Spirit of God filled the room. I've never witnessed so many residents shouting and praising the Lord. After the service was over many of the residents continued to sing - Jesus Is The Sweetest Name I know. Wow, what a time we had.

We had a great time this morning looking at the "Helmet of Salvation". There was a little lady coming into the room as I said, "Do you know why the Apostle Paul referred to salvation as a helmet?" She looked at me and said, "No, tell me why?" I put my arm around her shoulder and told everyone, "I didn't ask her to say that but I'm so glad she did." Many residents and staff pressed in to hear more about the Word of God. We continue to:

Tulsa

There were many of us this morning. We praised the Lord in song and then looked into the Word of God. Today we looked at: Putting on the whole armor of God, specifically the helmet of Salvation. We are to guard our minds. The Bible says to renew our minds to the Word of God. After the service I spoke to a resident who is going home. I have known him for two years. First, in Haskell and now in Tulsa. He was in a devastating motorcycle accident several years ago. We have been standing on the Word of God for his healing. He was very excited to tell me he was going home. God is Good!

The majority of residents who live in nursing care facilities do not have the opportunity to leave the facility to go to church. I spoke with a woman this morning who said, "I can't go to church any more. I've gone to church all my life." I explained to her that was the very reason why I came. I'm looking for those who are not saved and helping to strengthen those who are. I took this picture of an ol' cowboy who comes to nearly every service. He loves the Lord and is so thankful we are here. If you are a supporter of this ministry, THANK YOU! You have a part in ministering to literally hundreds of residents throughout eastern Oklahoma every day.

Stigler

This morning I was reminded, once again, how lonely it can be in nursing homes. After my services I always speak to everyone in the room. Today, I came to a woman whom I had seen many times. As I hugged her she began to cry uncontrollably. She said she was very lonely and that no one comes to see her. I was reminded of all the people who know someone in a nursing home. It could be family or friends. Please, take the time to stop and say, "Hi". It will be worth your time.

There's a new name written down in glory. . . He was across the room from me. I kept looking at him during the service but I really didn't know why. After the service, he came to me and said, "I need to talk to you." He was in a car accident where a drunk driver hit him. A portion of his brain was removed, do to swelling, and that caused paralysis on his right side. The doctors said, "He is a miracle - he should be dead." He said, "God has given me a second chance. I want to give my life to Him."

Life in the nursing homes can be quit mundane and boring. That's why I try to make our services as personal and exciting as I can. The Word of God is exciting! Today we looked at the word "Salvation". Salvation is the all inclusive word of the Bible. When Jesus said, "You must be born again", that is only a portion of the meaning of the word - Salvation. So, putting on the helmet of Salvation, found in Eph. ch. 6, is a big deal.

Tuesday, July 5, 2016

Tahlequah

I was able to meet with 3 new residents this morning. They were excited to know there would be regular services at this facility. They were relieved to know denomination was not an issue. We simply hold to the truths of the Bible. Many of the residents want to hang onto me and not let go. We have become "Family". Many times closer than our natural family. We have been looking at the armor of God found in Eph. 6. Today we looked at the helmet of Salvation. At the close of the service I was able to pass out 10 Bibles and 4 southern gospel CD's.

I am always thrilled to see residents, who have been diagnosed with some form of memory deficiency, "wake up". Before the service started there were residents who I could not communicate with. As we sang, I watched them remember more and more of the words to the hymns. That seems to wake up other parts of their memory. After the service I could carry on a conversation with these same people. The Bible says in Heb. 4:12, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." God is so good!

We pressed into worship this morning and 2 residents rededicated themselves to the Lord.

I realize the staff needs to continue to work however I've noticed that as they walk through the room they are singing along with us. They have a smile on their face and are very appreciative of what we are doing. We are seeing residents become more respondent the more they press into God. Realize, the God of the Bible is real. His power and love work in any situation and any circumstance.

I am in Okfuskee county this morning. Okemah is the county seat of Okfuskee county. This is just 1 of 25 counties we travel to. We are raising our hands and our voices as we magnify the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There are approx. 25 residents who showed up this morning. This is a significant percentage of those in this facility. The staff is very grateful we are her because there are not many churches or ministries who minister here. This afternoon I'll be traveling to Seminole county and the town of Wewoka. Once again we will press in to the Word of God and share the Good News that Jesus is Lord.

This morning a young gal came into the service in a wheel chair. I would guess her to be in her 30's. She had a stroke 2 years ago and still has no use of her left side. When I asked her if I could pray with her she just lit up. We are sharing the Good News. Jesus said in Luke 4:18-19, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."

Muskogee

I'm told we had 41 residents in the service this morning. That's one of the largest groups we've had here. We lifted our voices to the Lord and gave Him praise. Several of the residents have been in this service since I started more than 6 years ago. We are family! They are definitely not shy about their faith. What a tremendous testimony to the power of God, no matter what your age or circumstance.

Broken Arrow

I have been to the Broken Arrow facility 4 times now. The staff is getting to know this ministry. As I entered the building there were several staff members who asked for prayer for them and their families. In the service itself, we talked about running our race. As a runner, when you see the finish line you don't slow down, you speed up. You get excited about crossing the finish line. That's exactly how it should be with our spiritual race. When we see our spiritual finish line we should get excited and sprint to the finish. There were many tears during the service. At the close many of the residents said, it was just what they needed, "we are so glad you came" and "when will you be back".

This afternoon I'll be in Cleveland. The last time I was there, people came out of the woodwork. You know what I mean by that? It seemed like they hadn't heard these hymns for years. They were very excited and didn't want us to leave.

Find out what God has for you to do and do it. It will be the most exciting and fulfilling thing you could ever do!

Pryor

It's wonderful how these services can interrupt the residents normal day to be something abnormal, something supernatural. Many times it's not until the next time I come back that I will hear of something that happened to someone as a result of the last service. This morning there was a young woman who came into the service and began to speak to me. That may not seem like a big deal but I had never heard her speak before. I would guess her to be in her teens with physical problems from birth. Last month I had laid my hands on her and prayed for her. There appeared to be no response but we kept the switch of faith turned on. This morning she heard the music and new it was me. Apparently she demanded to come to the service. She looked at me and with a loud voice said, "lemonade!" We didn't know she liked lemonade. She wanted ME to get her the glass of lemonade. Before the service was over I had brought her 3 glasses of lemonade. Sometimes it's the little things in life that can make such a difference. I believe this is just the beginning for her. Yes Lord, You are so Good!

Glenpool

"Jesus is the sweetest name I know. . ." is the hymn we used to started this mornings service. You could see residents settling in, closing their eyes, and raising their hands as they began to worship. What a great way to start the day and the week. There is a peace and calm that comes as we put our trust in Him. If you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior you can and you should. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Okmulgee

The presence of God was very strong and powerful this morning. We started sing praises to our Lord and just continued throughout the hour. There were hands in the air and tears in our eyes as we worshiped Him. God is so good!

Muskogee

There are many, many residents here at Brentwood who love the Lord. We raised our hands and worshiped Him for quit a while. Then, we looked at the last sentence of Psalms 91:4 which says, "His faithful promises are your armor and protection." NLT We had some shouting going on when they discovered the promises were their armor and protection. That makes you want to know more about the promises. I left them with a book I put together called "His Promises ~ My Faith". It is the promises in the Word sorted by topic. Each chapter being a topic. It's a much easier way to find the promises you are looking for. After the service there were several resident who wanted individual attention. we continue to: Strengthen The Saved - Save The Lost

Claremore

We had a wonderful time in Claremore. I was told to go to the "Gold" hall because they were ready to sing and dance. After we had sung for a while, I wondered if they were really ready to dance. So, I began to sing "Hotel Hallelujah". They really did want to dance; both the residents and the staff. It got a little wild but it sure was fun. After the singing was over one of the residents said, "Let me show you how fast I can run", and he took off. He could run pretty fast but what was funny was to watch the staff run after him. Everyone really did like it and said, "The residents just came alive. Let's do this again." I think we will! This morning was "The Joy Of The Lord".

Tulsa

It is so good to be in Tulsa. This is one of the largest nursing homes in the area. As a result, we have the opportunity to minister to many people: residents, staff, family, and friends. There are many here who love the Lord. One gentleman who loves the Lord is called "Mister T", because of all his jewelry. They also call him "Hat Man". He does love his hats. We are strengthening The Saved - Saving The Lost. Now, it's time to head to Bartlesville.

Wagoner

There were several residents who continued to stream in as we sang: Amazing Grace, Oh How I Love Jesus, Standing On The Promises, etc. We lifted our hands to our wonderful Lord and Savior. Several who live here have had and are having challenges. So, we looked at God's Protection. Psalms 91: 4b says, "His faithful promises are your armor and protection." NLT We are standing on the promises of God. Hallelujah!

Stigler

I am celebrating my birthday in Stigler and Quinton today. We raised our hands as we rejoices in the Lord. He is worthy to be praised. I have known most of these residents for the last 6+ years. We talked about the 3 P's of the Bible: Protection, Power, and Persistence. It is good to know that God protects us. He gives us the power to run our race, but we must be persistent to get the job done. We must have that "can do" attitude. Like my pastor says, I cannot be defeated and I will not quit." We continue to be on the road: Strengthening The Saved - Saving The Lost.

Muskogee

For several years now East Gate Village in Muskogee has been my largest meeting. We started out in a small room at the end of one of the halls. We were asked to come to the main central room where there is more space and everyone can hear. We are proclaiming the Good News Of Jesus Christ from the mountain tops. For many of the residents this is their only church. We preach, teach, lay hands on the sick, pray for one another, and do the things that churches normally do. People ask me, "How is that working?" And I always respond, "It's working very well. we don't focus on our differences. We focus on what we have in common. We focus on Jesus and His Word."

Wilburton

This is another facility where we have become family. I come once a month but according to them that's not enough. The administrator is a preachers daughter who has played the piano her whole life. She knows all the favorite hymns by heart and wants to play. The residents have asked to have a singspiration the next time I come. We just might do that. At the close of the service I was able to hand out several bibles. We continue to:

Tahlequah

Here in Tahlequah we are family. I told them I felt like I was coming to a family reunion and meeting family I never new I had. We sang praises to our Lord and Savior with hands raised to Him. They really wanted to sing a lot this morning so we did. Eventually we went to Psalms 91 and looked at God's mighty Protection. God is so Good!

Glenpool

While I was leading the music this morning I was looking and thinking about each individuals life. Something amazing struck me. Those that have friends and visitors coming, on a regular basis, are more happy and stable than those who don't. God's love takes people to their highest level of life. As I moved around the room and honestly loved and cared for the people they improved in every way: spiritually, emotionally, physically. Let's be intentional about God's love every where we go. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
