In the nursing home environment there can be many scheduling and/or personnel changes from one time to the next. This morning was one of those times. There were several medical students in training (working with many of the residents). The facility also has a new activities director. Some of the staff, who new me, helped me bring residents in to the meeting room. We began to sing. Then, other residents came. We had a great time. One of the residents who has never responded before, either verbally or physically, motioned for a song sheet. Later I could see him trying to sing. God continues to move in nursing care facilities. The schedule has been reestablished with the new activities director and we are ready for next month. Praise The Lord!
