Muskogee

There was certainly a lot of ministry this morning. We started by looking at Eph. 2:10 (amp). This is the second time we've looked at this verse. We are learning how to find and follow the path that God has for each one of us. At the end of the service everyone one in the room wanted prayer. Now I'm off to Hartshorne.

Nowata

The last two times I've been here the activities director was not here. So, today was the first time I'd seen her in 3 months. I mentions to her that the last two times I'd been here I could tell they were getting ready for Bingo. (Bingo is HUGE in the nursing homes.) She said, "Oh yes Bingo comes right after you." It reminded me of a time in the 80's when several of us, up in Iowa, ministered at a mission on Sunday afternoons. They had a rule at the mission. If you don't go to the service you can't get in line to eat their evening meal. (The service was always full.) So, I said to the activities director, "What if we said, If you don't come to the service you can't play Bingo." Her eyes got real big and with a smile on her face she said, "We would double the crowd instantly." We might have something! :)

We did have a great service. We are changing lives all throughout eastern Oklahoma.

Claremore

I had some staff photo bomb my picture. But, that's okay. We were having an amazing time with the residents. They came in a little confused. (This is an Alzheimer facility.) After singing some of the old hymns, they brought back memories of family, friends, and times together at church. Some cried and some laughed as the memories came. But, even through the tears they said, they were good memories. Within these hymns are some very powerful truths from God's Word. The Bible says, it is quick and powerful. It certainly was this morning.

Bartlesville

Today must be the day for questions and prayer. this afternoon (In Bartlesville) I had the same as this morning (In Tulsa), many questions and much prayer. This is probably no different then any where else. When people get to know each other better, and trust is developed, there will be more personal questions and then opportunity's to pray. We may trust God but then we must trust people in order to develop relationships. People is what ministry is all about.

Tulsa

We gathered in a larger room today because it was necessary. It's wonderful to see these "churches" grow. There were many residents who wanted prayer today. Isn't it wonderful to know we have a God who hears and answers prayer? I am so thankful for my heritage at Rhema Bible College.

Sallisaw

It's exciting to watch resident "light up" when they hear God is not through with them yet. I tell them  all the time, "As long as we are breathing, God still has a plan and a purpose for their lives.

Wagoner

Amazing Grace, Are You Washed In The Blood, Because He Lives, and Blessed Assurance were just a few of the hymns that could be heard up and down the halls in Wagoner this morning. We are sharing the uncompromised Word of God. When Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life," It's more than the way to heaven. He has also provided a way to live life here and now. He has provided a path for each one of us to follow. It is what the apostle Paul referred to as "The Good Life" in Eph. 2:10 amp. We got excited about that this morning. He is Good!

Muskogee

We've been focused on Eph. 2:10 in the amp. We can know the will of God for our life. It should be the norm but sadly it is not. We saw that there is a path that we can follow. And, on that path all of our needs will be met. We had a 99 year old man in our meeting this afternoon. He shouted out, "Amen," and then proceeded to tell us, "that's how I get up in the morning!"

Muskogee

We had one of the largest groups ever, this morning. All the praise and glory go to our wonderful Lord and Savior. This facility really honors the Word and it is a blessing. We had residents, family, staff, and friends in attendance. When I first started the nursing home ministry back in 2009 the Lord said, "Have a traditional service with a full-Gospel message. Never talk denomination but always talk Bible." We are growing as a family, the family of God.

Wilburton

I think I have become addicted to chasing after God. This afternoon we looked at Eph. 2:10, in the amplified version, and talked about following God. We all got very excited. It doesn't matter how old/young you are. It doesn't matter where you live. It's possible to follow after God and get on the path where every one of your needs will be met. Praise The Lord!
