Faith is not something you pull out when you need it. Like pulling money out of your wallet. Faith is a way of life. It's more like breathing. You can't live without it. Obviously we can live naturally but even our natural life can be shortened without faith. This is what we talked about this afternoon. If you new that you could not live without faith just like you cannot live without air . . .

Muskogee

I think we've just had the largest service at this facility. I printed extra song sheet this morning before I left the house but I still ran out. We are definitely growing. As we began to sing I could see hands going up and eyes closing as the residents entered into heartfelt praise and worship. We looked at Mark 11:22. Jesus said, "Have faith in God." There were several who rededicated themselves to the Lord at the close of the service. Praise the Lord!

Wilburton

We started out with a group of kids from a day-care singing for Easter. It was great. The residents always like to see little kids. Kind of a hard act to follow but the residents also love the Lord. At the close of the service 2 residents raised their hands wanting to rededicate themselves to the Lord. Before it was over the entire group wanted to pray and rededicate themselves to the Lord. What a great way to spend Easter. We continue our mandate of: Strengthening The Saved - Saving The Lost.

Bartlesville

What a great time. It's always good to come to Bartlesville. We raised our hands to a wonderful God. So many of the residents are hungry for fellowship. They are lonely. When we get together much of that is helped. We are in fellowship with one another but we are also in fellowship with God. What a wonderful God we serve.

Tulsa

We had a great time in Tulsa looking at Mark 11:22, "Jesus said, Have faith in God." I never get tired of this verse. It is the beginning and the end of life. We raised our hand to God during praise and worship. Then, at the close there were many residents who wanted prayer for their healing. Several rededicated themselves to the Lord and wanted to press into God like never before. Praise the Lord!

Tahlequah

As I entered the Assisted Living service this afternoon I saw a woman who has been coming to these services ever since 2010. There was something different about her today. She was very pale and just stared ahead with no emotion. I've seen that look before. She has had a stroke. These are the times when a church family and a pastor is very important. This is one of the many reasons why I do what I do. She needs a pastor today. We spent some time together and then we prayed. These are the times when standing on the promises of God are crucial.

Muskogee

 "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"  Rom 10:14

It is an honor for me to be a "preacher". I'm so thankful the Lord has asked me to minister in nursing care facilities throughout eastern Oklahoma. Several years ago I said, "Lord, I want to help you build your kingdom. Tell me where to go and what to do and I'll do it." I had no idea it would be this. But, I am thankful!

Warner / Fort Gibson

Several of the staff brought in residents for the service today. I really appreciate what they do for the residents and for this ministry. Working together, we are spreading the good news that Jesus is Lord. This facility also caters to younger people who have severe handicaps. The only way they could come to the service is if someone brings them in. Today we had several of them. Praise the Lord! At the end of the service I laid hands on each one of them believing God's healing power to do a mighty work in their lives.

In Fort Gibson we looked at "How To Walk With God." At the close of the service a resident rededicated her life to the Lord. She said, "I just haven't been as close to God as I should be." (We probably all fall in that category.) We prayed together and I found myself rededicating myself right along with her. We can always press in closer.

Chandler

Our service in Chandler has always been mostly music. There is a need to focus our attention on Him through praise and worship. (It is very difficult to be negative while praising the Lord.) We get our focus off of us and onto Him. He is Lord!

Glenpool

This is what I like to see. Former residents who were healed by faith. Then, well enough to leave the facility and live on their own. Now they are coming back to visit and be in the service.

Having faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the most powerful thing we can do. Today we talked about living by faith. At the close of the service there were many residents who wanted prayer. It is one of the reasons I go - 1. Lift up His name in song  2. Preach  3. Teach  4. Lay hands on the sick. Now it's off to Chandler.
