Barnsdall

All I can say is WOW! The staff tell me we had residents in the service that had not responded to anyone for months. I didn't know that because everyone was responding. Those that were constantly 'on the go' had settled down and those that were not responding came alive. It was certainly not me. I had no idea. It was the loving, healing, power of God. This facility truly honors God. It makes such a difference. We continue to: Strengthen The Saved - Saved The Lost

Muskogee

This afternoon, before the service ever started, some of the residents were talking about several people who had gone on to be with the Lord. What they said was, "They're dead." I could tell they were sad. The kind of sad that you would have if you lost something and thought that you would never see it again. I had a chance to help them. They were not seeing death in the right light. Death, for the Christian, is a doorway to heaven. The apostle Paul said, To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Death is not the end of life. It is changing locations to a better life. We will see them again. We can put them in our future. Well, there was a lot of ministery that went on before the service and then we had a good service. I am so thankful I am doing what I am doing. There are many people in nursing care facilities who have no one. The Lord said, "Go, to strengthen the saved and save the lost."

Muskogee

I have known many of these residents since 2009, which is when the Lord called me into this ministry. Some have gone on to be with the Lord but many are still here. We have grown in the Lord together. This is one of the largest groups that I minister to. This facility is amazing. The activities workers look over the residents. If someone is missing from the service they will find them and bring them in. They want to come but sometimes they just forget.
We raised our hands to the Lord and gave Him praise this morning. He is worthy of all our praise.

Pawnee

I have been trying to get established in Pawnee for probably 6 months. I think we have arrived. Scheduling has been the main thing. Today, it just worked. It was wonderful. There are many residents who love to sing the old hymns. That brings in others, out of curiosity. We had a great group today. There were even some staff people who came in to sing. We continue to spread the good news that Jesus is Lord. We are now in 25 counties and 37 nursing homes throughout eastern Oklahoma. We continue to: Strengthen The Saved - Save The Lost.

Broken Arrow

For those of you who do not live in the Tulsa area or Oklahoma for that matter, It's been storming last night and today. For me, that's good sleeping weather. I didn't sleep in today but I think a lot of people did. This morning was a pretty light service. I know the residents who didn't show up and I know they will be disappointed when they find out they missed the service. I also know not to wake them up. There will be another day. There were a hand full who came and for those of us who were there, we had a great time together. We lifted our hands and our voices to the Lord. Then, we got into the Word. This ministry has been very determined to be consistent with services and service times right from the beginning. We will be back and God will continue to move, that is certain.

Vinita

The Vinita service just continues to grow. The residents and staff have a real heart to hear the Word of God. This picture is only half the group. We talked about the reasons why Jesus came. Then, at the close of the service I gave an invitation to accept Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. It was a very powerful time. Our mandate is very clear. We are: Strengthening The Saved - Saving The Lost

Inola

We had a wonderful 'first meeting' in Inola. Several residents and staff came in. They loved the music. We could have sung the whole time. We did look into the Word of God and answered this question, Why Did Jesus Come? I met a resident who is a Rhema grad. She has a Bible study and is the resident Chaplain. We are going to have a great time here!

Wewoka

It was so good to be back in Wewoka. These residents are hungry for the Word and worshiping God through singing the great hymns of the church. Tears began to flow as we sang. There were many hugs as we comforted those whose loved ones had gone on to be with the Lord and those who have just come back from the hospital. We are family so we care for one another.

Okemah

Wow, it was a busy morning in Okemah - meetings, meetings, meetings. I had not been put on their calendar for today and they did not have time to gather people together. The staff had several Monday morning meetings scheduled. I said, "That's Okay, you take care of your meetings and I'll take care of the service." I started the music, we started to sing, and the rest is history. Residents heard the music and started filing in. One resident yelled out, "This is better than Charlie Chan." I thought to myself, I certainly hope so.

We are lifting up the name of Jesus throughout eastern Oklahoma.

During a time of prayer

I truly believe we are making connections that are bigger than what we know. We are making personal connections, we are making spiritual connections, but we are making connections for the future. There are ministry things that are coming that we are not aware of yet.

Keep your spiritual antenna up and stay in an attitude of prayer. You have not heard the end of layered ministry. You have no idea what you are capable of. We have a capacity in God that goes far beyond what the natural can imagine. Take my yoke which is easy. And, take my burden which is light.
