The residents were really drawn to the music this morning. It made me realize how few churches and/or ministries come to nursing homes. These types of services are rare. When I notice that, in a given service, the attention span may be short, we will sing a few songs and then minister point #1. Sing a few more songs and then share point #2, etc. Mixing things up a bit helps to hold their attention. We had a great response this morning just ministering a simple message on Salvation.
