Wednesday - December 1st, 2021

And here we are, into December already.  I think with the nursing homes closed for such a long time it's taking a toll on the residents and staff.  This has been and continues to be a real challenge.  This morning I brought Christmas to the residents and staff.  There were both tears and clapping as we sang.  What a joy to be able to bring Good News to the facility.  As I was closing the service the activities director came to me and said someone had requested "the Lighthouse".  It is a favorite.  So, we closed with that.

On the way home I received a text from an activities director from another facility who informed me they were closed again.  There would be no activities for December.  And so it goes.  I will be producing a Christmas program for all the nursing homes that will be available to them through YouTube.  We are going in every way and any way we can.

Wednesday - November 10, 2021

It was so good to be back in Brentwood.  We sang a lot of hymns today because we were so excited to be together again.  It was a hymn-fest.  Then, we also opened the Word to 1 Peter 2:24 and talked about healing from God's Word.  Many of us are dealing with health issues right now.  It's good to know God wants us healthy and whole.  After the service, there were several who came to me wanting prayer for loved ones.  Praise the Lord.  We continue to:

Strengthen The Saved & Save The Lost

Thursday - July 22, 2021

Well, I am certainly not writing in my blog as much as I used to.  It's because I am not traveling as much as I used to.  Yesterday was one of those exceptions.  I spent the day in Muskogee, Ok, and had 2 wonderful services.  I say wonderful because the residents were so thrilled to have someone come and see them.  It does not happen much anymore and that is sad.  If you have the opportunity to visit someone in a nursing care facility and that facility is open please go.  You will be a major blessing.

As a result of nursing care facilities not being open to the public, we have become very effective with our online nursing care services.  As I was talking with residents after yesterday's services; they were very interested in taking my card which explains how to connect with the online services.

We will be live again today.  Service times are Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 2 pm CST

Wednesday - June 15, 2021

It is a real blessing to get back into these nursing care facilities.  The staff and residents appreciate, more than ever before, ministry coming in to encourage and strengthen everyone by the Word of God.  Today, everyone was smiling and waving but I think most came from the staff.  Hands were raised as we gave thanks to God for His wonderful love to us.

Wednesday - May 18, 2021

This morning after the service a resident came to me and said, "Look around the room.  You see a room full of Christians.  We don't need a lot of hellfire and brimstone.  We need to be encouraged.  You've done that with your music and encouraging words.  We've been locked up for months.  Our spirits have been lifted this morning.  When are you coming back?"

What a wonderful morning.  As nursing care facilities open, this is what I'm finding; People who want to be encouraged in the Word.

Now it's time for lunch and on to this afternoon's service.  God is so good!

Wednesday - May 12, 2021

Today I had my second service at Brentwood since they have reopened.  The excitement of reopening is incredible.  And, getting together as a body of believers is just amazing.  There are several here who want to be baptized.  It sounds like a stock tank is in the works and we may have a big outdoor service.  The power of God is at work and we cannot be stopped.  Praise the Lord.

Thank you, Okmulgee for allowing me to come to your facility.  We had an amazing time.  Today's topic was Heaven.  Everyone was very interested.  We answered the questions, how do you get there?  And what is it like?  There were smiles everywhere.  God Is So Good!

Wednesday - March 24th

This was just an amazing time to get back into the nursing home.  I was excited.  The residents were excited.  We sang and sang.  The joy of the Lord was certainly present.

Wednesday - January 27

Today we had our first live-stream service to the nursing homes and beyond.  It was a blessing to many and went beyond what I thought would happen for the first service.  I received a text from a very precious activities director who sent pictures of our first service to their facility.  We are in!  They all gathered around the big screen.

Monday - January 11 - Search & Rescue

Today was a learning day.  This was my first day working with John 3:16 - Search & Rescue.  We traveled to 5 homeless camps in the Tulsa area and talked/prayed with many in the woods and under bridges.  We are reaching out to the lost and hopeless.  Jesus is the way when it seems there is no way.
