Sapulpa

It's always exciting to see what God will do in a new place. There was 1 resident in the room when we started. As we continued to sing, 15 more residents came in. Then some family members of a new resident came in and stayed. After the service they were very grateful that we were there to lift up the name of Jesus. Staff also came through and thanked me for being there. It was a great morning.

Muskogee

These residents are so excited to worship the Lord, when I walked in they began to clap. We sang, "Count Your Blessings", "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", and "He Lives" to just name a few. It's always a joy to see the staff come in and join the service. I ministered on the Love of God today. There is nothing better, bigger, or more powerful than what Jesus did for us through His death, burial, and resurrection. He is Lord!

Broken Arrow/Pawnee

This morning I drove to Broken Arrow -  Forest Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center on 81st Street. As I understand it, this is the largest nursing home in Broken Arrow. The activities director was very gracious to let us in. We will be ministering on a regular basis at Forest Hills. Right know, I am sitting in a McDonald's in Cleveland and on my way to Pawnee. Pawnee is the county set of Pawnee county. This will be a new nursing home in a new county. This whole expansion program is simply supernatural. Being led by the Spirit of God is the most exciting life one could ever experience. We continue to travel and: Strengthen The Saved - Save The Lost

This afternoon I traveled to Pawnee. God is so faithful to fulfill and complete His Word. We are now in Pawnee. I have seen Him do things that I could not do. Following His plan and His purpose will see a thing completed. Back in June of 2015 when He said, Go into 25 counties in eastern Oklahoma and minister in all of the county seats, I wondered How I could do that. But, it was as easy as doing what He said to do! We were just accepted into the 24th county and will add the 25th next month.

Chouteau

This morning, the more and more we sang the happier we got. When I handed out the song sheets the residents started looking through them. During the next 45 minutes they continued to say, "Let's sing this one!" The staff said they heard residents sing who had never sung before. We are lifting up the name of Jesus. They were all asking when I would be back. I know it's not me. If I came in, sat down, and just watched TV with them they wouldn't be so interested in me coming back. No, it's the Word of God and the name of Jesus. That's what makes the difference.

Okemah

The more I travel and minister, the more I realize people really do want a better life. That "Better Life" is in Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life. I also realize people do not hear the old hymns much any more. There are wonderful truths in some of those hymns. As we were singing, "Standing On The Promises" and "Are You Washed In The Blood", the Administrator and Office Manager danced to the music as they went down the hallway. What a wonderful way to start a Monday. There is wonderful Joy in the Lord. Many residents testifed to what God had done in their lives. Wow, what a great way to start the week!

Okmulgee

That old adage "A picture is worth a thousand words" was true this morning. We had a real move of God in Okmulgee. When I got there, they were sleeping in front of the TV. When I left they were praising God and speaking in other tongues. PRAISE THE LORD!

Muskogee

I was about 2 minutes away from the nursing home when I got a call, "Just checkin' on you". It was the activities director. She said,"I've got them singing until you get here." There was lots of traffic in Muskogee and I think I hit every red light. What a blessing to hear everyone singing as I walked in the facility. They certainly do love the Lord. Not only did we sing together but we prayed for one another. Residents laid hands on other residents and prayed. After the service was over I ministered to a woman whom I have known for 4 years. She was in a geri chair and not talking any more. I held her hand and began to sing "Jesus Loves Me". After the third time through, she made eye contact and said, "Please, don't leave." We both started to cry. I told her I would be back and we will do this again.

Claremore/Nowata

I am always amazed to watch Alzheimer residents "wake up" to music. As we started to sing Amazing Grace, smiles came to their faces and they began to sing. They remember all the words. (This gal tried her best to frown but she really does enjoy the presence of the Lord.) The Bible says in Luke 19:10,"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." That is what we are all about, seeking and saving that which is lost.

This afternoon I traveled to Nowata county and the town of Nowata. I went to the Nowata Nursing Center and spoke to the activities director. She was thrilled that I would come to minister to her residents. She said they only have one church that comes once a month. The Lord is certainly opening doors. We are now in 32 counties and 32 nursing facilities. There will be more by the end of the month. I will share all of the expansion details in my month end news letter.

Pryor

It was my observation this morning that the spoken Word is powerful no matter who speaks it.

In the nursing homes it's difficult to know who understands what you are saying unless they respond in some kind of way: a facial expression, verbal, or something, etc. After I had been singing and speaking for a while a woman in the back responded to something I said. She said something like this, "Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, He is my healer, my deliverer and is available to anyone who asks!" I told her I should just sit down and let her preach. She said, "Oh no, I'm not a preach, I'm just a child of God who knows who I am in Christ." Wow, that doesn't happen very often but it's wonderful when it does. This group is growing. I spoke to the activities director after the service and she said this group loves to get together when I come.

Glenpool

It's not to often Ann has the opportunity to travel with me. Today was one of those rare times she was with me at a service. The residents were excited to meet her. We focused on the Love of God. Many hands were in the air as we sang about our wonderful Lord and Savior. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the Best, the Biggest, and the most Powerful gift you could ever receive. As I looked around the room I was reminded of so many people who have been saved and healed by the power of God. Yes, Jesus Is Lord!

Stigler

I have been in Stigler since 2010. We have seen a lot of changes but one thing never changes - the love and power of God. Many of the residents in nursing homes are toward the end of their natural life. It is a priority of this ministry to make sure they are aware of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. One cannot make a clear decision for Him unless you know who He is and why He came.

We raised our hands to the Lord and rejoiced in His goodness and love. There is a woman who comes here from 15 miles away. She lives out in the country but comes to visit with the residents and be in the service. She said,"I have your schedule at home because I need this!"

Muskogee

For some of the residents, coming to these services is easy. For others, coming to these services is a physical and mental challenge. If they can come and press into God they will be better in every way: spiritually, mentally, and physically. This morning there were many who came needing the power of God in their life. We prayed for peace, physical healing, and renewed relationships. God is good and has the answer for every need. The Bible says, Where two or three are gathered together in His name there He is in the midst. He was there this morning and we were blessed!

Wilburton

We are growing at Tidwell because Tidwell is growing. What a wonderful group of people. This was the largest group yet. I met a couple who came in to visit residents. They stayed for the service and talked with me afterward. They are ombudsman in some other nursing homes and want to provide services in those facilities. I encouraged them to do so. We will provide music, song sheets, outlines, and CD's, if they want.

Tulsa / Bartlesville

Tulsa
I get so thrilled to see residents raising their hands in praise to God. Before the service started the activities director pointed out a resident and then said,"She needs some extra lovin'. She's had a hard morning." During the service she raised her hands, and with tears in her eyes, praised the Lord. After the service she said,"I needed this!" Isn't God good. As we press into Him, He meets our every need.

Bartlesville
We are now in Bartlesville! The Lord gave me a directive to go into 25 counties in eastern Oklahoma. Washington county is #21. I'll be starting in March.

Wagoner

There were only 10 in the service this morning however, one rededicated his life to the Lord and another was inquiring about being filled with the Holy Spirit. Never underestimate what might happen based on the size of the crowd.

Being led by the Holy Spirit does not mean you will always have crowds. It does mean you will be at the right place, at the right time, for the right reason. Being led by the Holy Spirit is the most exciting life you could ever live. Now, it's on to Sallisaw.

Eufaula

This morning it just seemed like we should have a singspiration. Several residents and visitors came in and we all wanted to sing. Amazing Grace, Are You Washed In The Blood, Because He Lives, is just a few of the songs we sang. What a great way to start a Friday.

We continue to:

Muskogee

It seemed like the room was charged this morning. The residents were singing before the music started. We looked at the Love of God. It is the Best gift, the Biggest gift, and the most Powerful gift you could ever receive.

Warner

The Warner nursing home has facilities that allow it to care for a variety of people. This morning there were elderly in the group. But, there were also those on ventilators, and some younger people who have a variety of issues that require full-time care. This morning we had a young gal wheeled in whom I had never seen before. She was in a geri chair. I would have guessed her to be 8 to 10 years old. She has some mental and physical disabilities and just as cute as a bug. She would start to get upset during the service so I would go to her and put my hand on her shoulder or arm. When I did she would quiet down. After the service I discovered she has been here for a while but never came out. When she came to the facility she only weighed 50 lbs. Then the shocker, she is 21 years old.

I remember back in the 80's, during the Christmas season, going to a county children's home and seeing an entire facility filled with kids like this. Many of those kids had been abandoned and left for the county to care for. Now days they are assimilated into care facilities that have the ability to care for them. God has a very big heart for kids like this and so do I.

Several years ago, I had rededicated my life to the Lord and wanted to be used more than ever before. I said, “Lord, put me in situations and circumstances where I can be used the most.” I felt that I should be doing more than I was. I said, “Lord, put me on the fast track. Let’s build Your kingdom. Let’s strengthen the saved and save the lost." I had no idea how He would answer that prayer. But, I am so thankful He called me to do what I am doing!

Tahlequah / Stilwell

THERE'S A NEW NAME WRITTEN DOWN IN GLORY. . .
It was wonderful to see the room fill up again. We praised the Lord with hands raised to our God. He is worthy to be praised. Today, we talked about the love of God. He is the greatest gift we could ever receive.

At the close of the service a woman said, "I've gone to church all my life but I don't know if I'm saved." We prayed together and when she said, "Jesus is my Lord," she began to cry. God is so good!

It seems as though at the end of every day I could write a book about what happened throughout the day.

This afternoon after the service a resident said, she had been praying yesterday that God would send someone to sing and preach the Word. She could no longer go to church and she was so hungry for the Word. Then, with tears in her eyes, she said, And then, today, you came. Her CNA was standing next to her and she began to cry. The resident said she could no longer walk because of arthritis. She said, "Would you pray for me?" So, the three of us held hands and we prayed to our wonderful Lord. He is the healer.

Glenpool / Chandler

This is the first time I've ministered in Glenpool in the morning. I changed my schedule to the first and third Mondays at 10am. There was a little scurrying but we all got together and had a wonderful time. (Any time there's change it takes a little time to adjust.)
We raised our hands and magnified our wonderful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Then, we looked at His Overwhelming Love. It's: 1) the Best, 2) the Biggest, and 3) the most Powerful gift. After the service there were many residents who wanted prayer for healing.

This afternoon was real surprise. I went to Chandler to set up a new nursing home. As I was talking to the activities director she said, "What are you doing now?" I wasn't doing anything. So, I went to my car, gathered my things, brought them in and we had a service. It was wonderful. We continue to expand in this 75 mile radius.
