Barnsdall

This was one of the most incredible stops I've made. First, I will be coming to Barnsdall starting next month. Second, the activities director is also a local Sunday-school teach. She was tired and ready to quite her Sunday-school class. We talked about that for a while and I realized I could help her in that area. We are going to provide resources for her and her class. She got real excited and just new this was a "God" meeting. Praise the Lord. I continue to pray, "Lord, tell me where to go and what to do and I'll do it."

We continue to travel eastern Oklahoma: Strengthening The Saved - Saving The Lost

Sapulpa

This was my first official meeting at this facility. Last time I was here it was to set up a regular schedule. I did pull out some of my song sheets and we sang for a while. I am scheduled right before their morning exercise class. We sang right into the exercise time with the person leading the exercises singing with us. Finally a staff member came in and said that it was important that the residents got their exercise too. They didn't want to stop singing. It's always exciting to see the power of the Word working in peoples lives. Some of these old hymns are just filled with the Word.

Muskogee

After this mornings service I realized we had been talking about the Promises of God, in the Word, but not actually going to them to find out what they say. So, I spent some time during lunch jotting down some of the promises. This afternoon we started out the same, looking at Eph. 2:10, then we looked at one verse in particular.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. Psalms 103:2-5

After 1 1/2 hours we just had to quit.

Muskogee

This facility honors the Word of God. It makes such a difference. Both residents and staff press in to the Word. They want to grow. We had a wonderful time this morning as we raised our hands and our voices to the Lord. At the close of the service it was a natural thing to rededicate ourselves to the Lord.

Pawnee

The service in Pawnee went well. This is only the second time I've been in Pawnee. Many residents came in that I recognized from last time. I get the impression they don't get a lot of churches or ministries coming in. There were many tears and uplifted hands as we sang the old hymns. What a wonderful time. There were many questions about when I would be back. So, I think it went very well. Praise the Lord!

Broken Arrow

This was a wonderful service. The residents came in like sponges ready to soak up the Word. Many of us have never been taught how to be led by the Lord. Or, how to follow the path that God has prepared for us. It's a wonderful life. It doesn't matter where you are or how old you are. God has a plan and a purpose for your life.

Pryor

There must have been some form of training, hands on, in service, for nurses this morning. There were medical coats and stethoscopes everywhere. They seemed very pleased to see someone come in to sing the hymns and open the Word. I had a companion with me today. Everywhere I went he went. I guess after we had talked about family and being brothers and sisters in the Lord; he realized I was family.

Tulsa

This is a ministry that shares the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout eastern Oklahoma in nursing care facilities and beyond. I say beyond because we are also ministering through the internet by way mp3 audio messages, video messages, and printed books. We are using every form of technology we can find and figure out. There are many ways to share the message however the message itself does not change. It is the Word of God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." That is the foundation of what we preach. This morning I ministered in Tulsa. We lifted our hands to the Lord and magnified Him for who He is, What He has done, and what He continues to do in our lives. He is Lord!

McAlester

This was the final meeting for the week. It is another new facility for me. I call this picture POTENTIAL. We had a great time together. A few more came in after this picture, but not many. I look forward to growing this over the next several months. I love to see rooms like this fill up. We are changing lives all over eastern Oklahoma.

Okmulgee

I went to a new nursing home in Okmulgee today. Starting next month I will be ministering in Highland Park Manor. I'm excited about the development. I have been wanting to minister here for the last year. The time is now. Praise the Lord!
